• Microsoft Office Excel is a spreadsheet  program written and distributed by Microsoft as part of Microsoft Office . 
• It features calculation, analysis, graphing, pivot tables and many other tools. 
• In late 2009, Microsoft released the beta version of Microsoft Excel 2010.
